Scootle and the Australian Curriculum

On my last placement I discovered Scootle as a useful website to search for ideas and resources for my lesson plans. However, I just discovered that you can search for resources that link directly to Australian Curriculum content descriptors. Here I will provide a little how to…

First go to the Learning area and year level you would like to use… for my demonstration I’ll pick Mathematics Year 3… It should look like this:

aus curriculum
Choose the content descriptor you would like to use and click on the code in the brackets.

scootle link
After that, a page like this will pop up… Click on the the Scootle icon underneath where it says Discover resources.

Then you get a page like this….

scootle resources…and you can go wild! So many pages of resources to help you plan your lesson.

Hope this helps someone else too.

Signing off,

Bec.
